ISSAQUAH LITTLE LEAGUE

Issaquah Little League Umpire Program

The Issaquah Little League Baseball and Softball umpire staff consists of adults and teenagers working baseball and softball games at the AAA, Coast, and Majors levels of play. Our teens make up our Junior Umpire program which has been successfully run since 2009 and has received rave reviews from players, managers and parents over the years. Including Junior Umpires in our league necessitates we strictly enforce the ZERO TOLERANCE policy for managers, coaches, parents and players talking back, chirping or arguing calls.

Below you'll find more information on each of the programs, training and game scheduling information, and other resources for umpires and anyone else interested in the rules of the game.

If you have questions, please contact the Umpire-in-Chief.

Junior Umpire Program

Will you be a teenager (13-18) in the spring? Are you a former Little Leaguer, knowledgeable about baseball and/or softball and looking to earn some cash? If so, then the Issaquah Little League Junior Umpire Program might be for you! We are looking for teens who know baseball/softball and who want to umpire games for 9-12 year olds on weeknights after school and on weekends during the day. We will train you and provide the equipment you need.

  • Umpires are paid between $25-$75 per game depending on experience, position, and game levels.
  • To ensure we have appropriate coverage we are asking you to commit to attend the training and have the time to work at least one game a week.
